Meet Dr. Matthew Woodyard (Creve Coeur Township, MO)
Dr. Matthew Woodyard completed his undergraduate schooling at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. He started practicing optometry at Crown Vision Center in 2002. Dr. Woodyard decided to become an optometrist because he was always drawn to being a doctor, and he was very interested in optics. Today, his favorite part is solving problems for patients, helping them to see better and feel better.

Went for my annual exam with Dr. Woodyard. I’ve been going here 3 years (since moving back to STL)... Show More. Dr. Woodyard is very thorough. I wear contacts and the clarity of my vision has improved when he changed my prescription. Today Dr. Woodyard noticed a change with the optic nerve and called my primary doctor to coordinate getting some labs completed. Dr. Woodyard called me this evening to discuss the results of the labs. Excellent follow up and excellent care!
